Issues with new Login System - Add them here

So, the new login system logs you out after a period of time.

And I seem to recall we were told to check the "Remember me" box.

Which I tried... And got this:



So I think it's going to have a bit of trouble remembering me...

Browser is Firefox/40.0

O/S Windows Vista.

Not sure if this is a PH problem or a browser problem, but I think it's the first time I've ever seen the username field blank like this.

Well yes maybe... But somehow the username field wasn't automatically populated (which is usally is?)...

I'll get all these issues looked into by the developers, i'll let you know what they say.

Wrong. It is PH's fault. They've got a stupid unique ID as part of the URL so none of the password remembering tools work. See way back in this thread on Thursday 25th June where I complained about it.

And yet again I have been prompted to login this morning. (and I haven't flushed any cache / cookies - in fact I only had to login again on Sunday...)

If the devs put as much effort into fixing the various issues (login, multi quote and formatting to name a couple) on this site as they did incorporating adverts, well it would be a much better site.

Interestingly my iPhone can populate the username and password but not chrome on the desktop

Have you tried explicitly logging out? I found that fixed it for me and it's remembered my login ever since.

I've not previously been affected by login issues, but today I've had to login and login and login. Everytime I visit in fact.

Multiple devices affected, have you 'fixed' something today?

We release upgrades every Tuesday and Thursday so potentially. I am not in the office today so will check with the team tomorrow, though I have had no issues on my phone today (I know a test set of one)

I'm using Chrome on Android and 2 separate PC's if that helps, just had to login again to reply to you, I'll check in tomorrow as I CBA with this all evening (not a dig at you Pete appreciate you werent in)
