It's making money, nobody cares.

Sadly our community is now just a farm but at least before you felt like free range livestock, now it's just a big battery chicken shed held up by poor construction and bombarded with crass adverts.
Time to speak with our feet?

I imagine the rate of signups has already slowed from where it was a year or two ago.

Mobile is still not working properly and we're two months down the line since it was reported:

What's wrong there, if you click a thread in My Stuff it will take you to the latest unread posts. It does on mine.

If I click on What's New I get all the what's new threads in the forums I have as favourites and I can click on the thread title to go to the start or I can click on a little button on the right to the latest posts.

I am having no problems.

I think they've given up.

Would've been easier to migrate onto a proper platform with working adaptive design and features. I really don't know why they persist with this old setup; one day the pain will HAVE to come...

This should really be the next step. There are so many fully functioning forums out there that just work... all the time.

Try Opera not Opera Mini, there's feedback on the app store about the latest version not rendering websites properly.

Opera on LG G3 Android 5.1.

"Sorry, the address entered is not valid Proceed to home page"

Is it really so difficult? Happens on every thread with an apostrophe in the title.

Continually having to log-in (across devices) is also tedious in the extreme.

They have known about that one for a long time, and just don't give a fk.

If you gave the following information they might know where to start.

What devices?
What OS?
What broswers?
What adblocker software, AV or other script blocking?

It works fine for me, I stay logged in. I'm using:
Desktop Windows 7 & Chrome, MSSE, AdBlock Plus, Disconnect
Nexus 7 Android 5.11, Chrome
LG G3 5.1 Chrome

If they can't replicate the same conditions they can't solve it.

Thanks FWD.

Can I ask anyone with any issues in future to take a quick look at:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

We NEED all this information so that the developers can replicate the circumstances in which the issue appeared.

If we don't we can't locate the source i'm afraid.

A huge part of the problem is lack of feedback.
I started a thread about the apostrophe issue a year or so back, and got a basically "so what" reply.
It may have been fixed for my device since then, but I CBA to keep trying on the off chance it's been fixed since last time.

If we could have an "issues fixed" thread, that would be a big help, and presumably help the techies when we all try it and report back.

I would suggest starting a public Trello board for forum issues so each issue can be discussed in isolation and we would also get to see what is on the roadmap and what is being worked on.

Ok but does this mean that things we have reported month or so back, and have been told has been passed on, are not actually being worked on unless we report them again but with all the above information?

Next page issue is Chrome on Android.

Just tried to view the new posts in this thread via Chrome on XP (I know) - "Nothing to see here".

And you can't be bothered to answer even a simple question. Why should we be bothered struggling on, resisting the lure of ad blockers still. Really this site increasingly deserves to sink, and until the incompetence in the development depot is sorted it's only going one way. Add in the moderation fiasco and more and more will vote with their feet. Can't see a single thing that's been fixed properly in weeks now, possibly even months.
