Can I also add to this list - just had the 'Fusion' ad.

I don't run ad blocking software as I understand the need for revenue generation but please make sure they don't have sound - it's a real issue in the office.

(and now it's a fecking Olay advert - STOP IT!)

Bicardi popup here, overlayed 80% of the screen, with sound.

Thankfully I generally have my PC on mute.

Time for Adblock to be installed....

A brief post to register my disquiet with the noisy adverts.

An Oral B advert played twice and I clicked away as a Samsung TV ad started playing - all three while scrolling through on the same page.

Not surprised there has been no response.

Just get your ad blocker installed although having said that, I know of one forum that actively monitors who runs this software and actively suspends or bans those members that use it.

Not massively impressed either ... I have some large speakers plugged into my computer at work this morning, so whilst surfing during a coffee break, some random advert came on at a loud volume! Partly my fault; I should have muted my computer. That said, it's been awhile since we've had auto-play adverts with sound. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time.

I'd rather have those annoying three quarter page drop-down adverts than auto-play video with audio!

AdBlock installed ages ago when they first started using this crap, makes life so much easier.

It isn't as if the adverts are even remotely relevant to the PH target audience.

A waste of absolutely everyone's time, money and patience.

I was actually going to advertise ON pistonheads until I realised how annoying I find the advertising. I've installed adblocker as it's the only thing that makes the classifieds usable.

As a business it's flawed. Nobody will PAY to use PH. Nobody wants adverts (well, not the intrusive st PH display).

Why not bin ALL adverts and have a really decent classifieds to fund the whole site?
