Adverts with sound
Discussion
I accept the need for the adverts, hence not running adblocker, but the sound is a poor show, and I block them on anysite that uses them. Glad it's not only me though, as I thought PH had previously said they weren't having them with sound.
Edit: Another, for VSSalon or the like.

Ive just installed Adblocker on Chrome and it works a treat.
And pages load faster here, and on other websites. Its astonishing how much of a webpage is advertising data.
Don't know why i didn't do it sooner to be honest.
Just done it for firefox, feel the same way, I used to appreciate the fact websites need the income, but i feel a lot of these adverts are starting to push customers away rather than click them. And pages load faster here, and on other websites. Seriously PH, sort this crap out. If you want to drive people away and dramatically reduce the hits on your website, thereby reducing your ability to sell ad space, you're going about it exactly the right way.
I get that you want to sell ad space that I may choose to ignore, but any website that effectively starts to "take over" my PC with either auto play video or sound soon gets ignored by me.
You are PH. You have a very loyal following. People stay loyal because of what PH is in terms of contributors and website content.
Do not get arrogant and abuse that loyalty.
