What happened to the adverts?

The adverts at the foot of the page/posts seem to have changed - they were some PH links and some shopping/spam links/clickbait but now they ALL seem to be this - Is this intentional?

Oh dear.

This is a massive nail in the coffin of the look and feel of this site. Some of the s

t that turns up in those tombula (or whatever they are) ads looks unbelievably chavvy, and quite out of place at work.

The more constructive the discussion, the more likely a reasoned response IMHO ...
