Ladbrokes twice in the last 3 pages, and there wasn't even a Laddies advert on either page! How does this happen? And Shirley it can't be that difficult to stop? Just prevent the known offenders from advertising?

I can't help but think that Ladbrokes and William hill (amongst others) must pay Haymarket decent coin to do this...

Really fking st.

Either make a proper effort with the site, content included or just kill it.

Is it any wonder the site is far less active these days?

Your fking stty ad campaigns and appalling content have done it.

Hi Studio 117

The Advertising Ops team are aware of this issue but to help them identify the root cause could you please upload some screen shots showing the adverts as they appear.
Also can you tell in which forum this occurs unless all and how you are opening up the site on the forum. Whether through google app or through the safari page and which iPhone you are using.

Hi Ollie.

The problem occurs for me using my iPhone 5s, using the google chrome app (haven't actually tried Safari!) both updated to the most current revision.

The thing which has been confusing me lately has been the fact that the company whos app I'm directed to aren't actually advertising on the page!

FWIW I seem to get the issue sporadically all across the website. Sometimes it wont happen for a couple days, then all of a sudden it seems to happen on about 75% of the pages I load

Sorry for the rant. hehe

It happens at random, all though more evident on sub forums I don’t visit very often.

I just get this(I posed it the other day).

Over and over again.
Quite frustrating tbh.

It's quite alright rant away. Apologies you're having this issue.

Just to reiterate, as Ollie and Pete have mentioned this is equally annoying to the PH team and - aside from knowing who in the building we can rant at - there isn't actually anything we can do to stop this occurring.

But rest assured, we are on at the ad-ops team on a more than daily basis to sort this out as it is really annoying everyone (including us)

What would be helpful though is if you can share the information on this thread of when it occurs - it has proved surprisingly hard to replicate. Information like the page you were viewing, if you were logged in and if you were browsing via wifi or mobile data would be handy.

thanks

JD

Just happened to me twice there while viewing my stuff (so logged in) Once I got the download failed screen which someone uploaded on here, once I never.

Both jumped across to William Hill. I'm also browsing on mobile data.

I was redirected to an App Store link from here

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-eurocars/renaul...

I came to this thread to post the details and...[drum roll, please]...got another redirect here!

Definitely seems to be more prevalent nowadays. Tres annoy.
