You might need to specify which Volume hehe

But yes I'm getting a 'Nothing to see here' too.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

You know what, back in the 80s it was kind of fun to see these 404 messages - it made you think you were on to something special.

PH is rapidly becoming useless in terms of communicating with people (and allegedly trying to search for a car to buy).

Anyway - join the queue - I can't believe that the Private Message function has browned out, just what is the point of having eleventy billion users that cannot actually contact each other?

So cry

looks like haymarket are slowly pulling the plug/budget.

Next to zero decent content outside of the forums
Falling post numbers
Forum stuck in 2001
Aggressive advertising
Hyperlinks on words
etc

And PH TV rofl

It's beyond a joke. I want to contact a PH member - all I can do is PM them. It doesn't fking work.

It doesn't work.

I was a PH mod at one time - I fell out with Stuart Forest because I told him his latest recruitment drive was utter st because he was asking/advertising for a programmer that was a programmer and an advertising executive and also knew knew how to lead sales and program. WTF?

Utter fking ste. Paul Garlick was pleasant enough to tell me my services as a mod were no longer required - fine - they couldn't take the truth.

This website - PH is collapsing beyond belief in terms of being a useful tool.

Where are Stuart Forest and Paul Garlic now? No where to be seen.

And I'm fking annoyed - how many years here getting to know people and all of a sudden I can't contact someone via a PM - the content here is A1 - the infrastructure is pants. So many good knowledgeable people just don't post here any more.

This site is dying a slow death.

Forty years experience in Accounancy demonstrated to me that few businesses seek trouble but trouble does find many businesses. Can anyone advise me of the best way to contact the moderators please? Thus far posting on here has not worked? Thank you.

Hi all.
This is a fault that the developers are looking into but I will give them a small 'nudge' on your behalf.
If you can let me know what machine, OS and browser you're working on that would be a great help.

Is there is anything else I can help with then please let me know.. I would say PM me but that might be a bit optimistic for now.

Hope you can resolve ths ASAP.

Thank you,

Steffan

PS I will PM you the same info but I understand your doubts about that system.

Go to the page before the last one and it's OK. Just seems to have a phantom page.

Agreed.
Considering Haymarket's raison d'être is marketing and media it's laughable.

The tech team are all hands on deck trying to 'iron out' these glitches. However, there is a triage system that they follow so somethings are given priority, BUT they have been told and are aware of your feedback.

I do understand that resolving problems can take time.

Any idea how long it will be before the site recovers and is up and running, please?

Equally any idea why?

Thank you.

To be fair, that does seem to sum it up. Perhaps PH have hired a new editor.

I can't give an exact timeframe as there is always something thy needs to be worked on. Bare in mind they have to cater for all devices including mobile and browsers and operating systems.
Any issue I do address and try to get actions asap.
The Hamsters are working double time shifts

I appreciate the update. Doubtless order will be restored in due course.

Maybe thread length is getting too much for the PH gerbils? Why not just start a new thread?
