Merge watches into the proposed sub forum just to annoy them?

I can think of no context in which that sentence is correct.

I think you've completely and utterly missed the point of modern PH. A simple look in the subforums of P+P will put you right.

Not that I give a st about a clothes subforum, my reply was tongue in cheek.
I think I've nailed the point completely. PH is full of non motoring people these days, it's even evident in General Gassing, where it's all talk about leasing, diesel rep mobiles and cyclists vs motorist threads.

The wider PH community isn't as good as it once was and I'm not even a proper 'long' term member. Adding more and more chuff that had nothing to do with motoring only makes it worse.
You could always, kinda, not read it. I don't look at 2/3 of the subforms on here.

Exactly.

Like most posters. there are forums on all kinds of things I'm not interested in. I don't see them as they're not in my favourites or in my stuff.

Despite complaints about the forum architecture, PHs is massively customisable to the user. There's no excuse at all for having to read forums you don't like.

Unless of course you're complaining about these non motoring members ruining car related threads you like.
