Hi all

Due to the increasing importance of this particular forum group we have appointed (taken../ ..ordered) Dominik, one of our development team to reply directly to any technical issues that you are facing. This will speed up the response time and allow us to effectively manage any queries you may have in a more timely and efficient manner.

If you do have an issue that needs his attention then please provide as much information in the first instance as possible so that he can try and replicate it. Screenshots are a great help along with stating which device, OS, browser and skin you are using.

I will also be on hand to monitor the thread and offer assistance with any other query you may have including general feedback and also recording any suggestions that you guys feel we need to help improve your experience of the site.

Many thanks

Ollie

As always, starting a new topic in the Website Feedback thread is the best way to report any technical issues. This way, not only can other PH'ers also help you out if they've come across the problem before, but any solutions posted will be available for anyone (who perhaps have a similar problem) to see. If the issue then requires a fix to be released, I can then use the topic to let you know when the fix is live.

However, If you would like to email me techincal issues directly, you can do so at dominik.lander@haymarket.com.

As Ollie says, it really does help me out when as much information as possible is given to help me replicate and diagnose the issue, so please try to give as much information as you can about the device, operating system, area of the site, etc,.

Thanks all,
Dom

Your starter for 10

Why does the 'Go to new posts' link only ever take me to the first post on the first page of any topic?

Google Chrome on a MacBook Pro all on latest versions.

Just to help clarify Dom is on hand to answer any technical issues that members have due to his extensive knowledge of tech related stuff.

I will also be active in this thread to answer any general queries you may have, to make note of any suggestions and generally join in discussions about ways to improve the site on the whole.

Was fixing something on an Ipad 3 IOS 9.1 and had a quick look at classifieds. Are you aware that this what your customers experience ?

We are looking at cookie policy over the coming months and will be adding a close button - we'll let you know when we do this.

We'll investigate the ipad menu issue. It looks like this is advert related.

Thanks again for your feedback.
