You'll then not hear anything further, and nothing will change.
They pay. We don't.
Most reasonable people accept sensible ads on free sites. Stupid ads either make people install blockers or they leave the site. The site doesn't last much longer after that. They pay. We don't.
I've seen it happen on another site I used to regularly visit. That site is now almost dead and the owners constantly plead to be added to white-lists while blaming the ad blockers for their own demise. They don't understand that it was their greed that alienated users.
I try not to browse on my phone because I have no idea what it may get infected with if I do. I stick mostly to my rooted tablet, PC and laptop all of which have adblocking enabled.
James, it's not good enough. You categorically cannot be serving up malware to your users and taking money for it. If you can't control it, CUT IT OFF UNTIL YOU CAN FIX IT.

I completely agree - Sadly I don't have the authority or the ability to "cut it off", or it would be sorted already. However, what I did do was to send a very clearly worded email to my colleagues that can control it. I'm not sure how quickly they can fix it, but I made it clear that ASAP wasn't fast enough. The complexities of the way the adverts appear on our site are just that; very complex. However, clearly we would never knowingly allow malware to be promoted. I'm sure the answer that we'll have back from the various advertising agencies involved is that "someone was very naughty and they've been removed from the advertising roster"... but that isn't really good enough for you or us.
As I say, I've done all I can do at this moment in time, but as and when I know more I'll update the thread.
Thanks
JD

Surely slinging malware is a breach of whatever contract PH has with the ad pimps? The complexities of the way the adverts appear on our site are just that; very complex. One day someone is going to get hacked / device locked, and may well come after you legally.
A word to your legal department about liability may help move this along.

This site is not useable anymore, in the words of that Scottish fellow in dragons den "ahm oot".
Just had to close chrome 5 five times in a row. Think I'll go on an extended give up PH for Lent.
Good luck with the website!

Good luck with the website!
