A minor thing, but some topics on the 'my topics' page aren't updating after I've looked at them; that is, they stay bold as though I've not looked at them. Only some though, very odd.
Hi there, just to check are you looking at your "my stuff" across different devices or is this happening on just one?

Thanks in advance
JD
Happening to me, using a single device.

Galaxy tab 10.1, Android browser, GTI skin
Same for me on a laptop using Google Chrome browser
Same for me this morning.

Have just checked my 'MY Stuff' and all have unbolded' up to the last hour.

ETA: Is it a clock thing?
It's now working normally for me also, but was persistent with the bold on one thread this morning no matter what.

Fantastic irony from the hamsters/guinea pigs.

Now this thread has joined the other in permanent bold biggrin

Working ok at the moment.
Famous last words! SNAFU again.
hehe

It's changed here as well. The hamsters/guinea pigs have released this thread from its boldness, but the other thread remains bolder than Lancelot.

Still bolded here. Anything with a time stamp within the last hour refuses to be un-Lanceloted.
Priceless. This thread is now back on the Round Table wink

Ditto!
When looking at something which has been dormant for an hour or more it will 'unbold'! Have all the PH PC clocks been turned forward?

NRS said:
It's a bit random, and involves more than 1 hour difference for me some of the time. That said, I am in another country which may throw things off even more! Using Chrome.
OK maybe not a NSS moment wink

Just did an experiment.
50 minutes...Bold
55 minutes...Bold
59 minutes...Bold
60 minutes... Unbold!

HTH
And yet my 'experiment' earlier showed a thread in plain text, then bold, then plain again, in the space of a few minutes.

Could this be due to thread views, My Stuff views and so on being routed to different servers from time to time (literally) such that if you get one of the Lancelot servers consistently then you see the hourly rate phenomenon, but if you happen to get another server in the interim then it's random almost?

Just had an approx 30 minutes with forum pages loading and contributions previewing, but not posting...the attempts timed out each time and the "something's wrong" message appeared eventually.

Everyone complaining about how bad the sites reliability is etc should demand a refund (oh and also run a forum for a while - it is one of the most thankless tasks I have ever undertaken).
Been there done that and you're not wrong.

That said, 30 minutes then another 30, are we supposed to do work after midday or something wink

Very slow tonight for others or just me?

Maybe the rodents need feeding.

OK I'll just have to get a servant to fix the PC with a better fix. You can't get the staff these days.
