I keep getting the following message when trying to search the classifieds, either when instigating a new search, or when clicking a link from an alert email.

Bad Request - Request Too Long

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.

Hi hufggfg,

Thanks for reporting this. We applied a fix around yesterday lunchtime which could explain this. Could you let us know if this happens again?

Thanks,
Dom

Hi hufggfg,

Thanks for the feedback. Is the error repeatable now: does it happen every time you try to search the classifieds? Does it happen when trying all 3 of your below steps? What device/browser are you using?

Thanks,
Dom

It's probably trying to retrieve the list of makes from the database that is causing timeouts....

Hmmm.... doing some more digging around. If I try with my iphone, it's fine. If I try with Safari, it's fine.

However, with Chrome (my normal browser), it's still not working. I do have some extensions, such as FlashBlock, running but Pistonheads is whitelisted, and even when Flashblock is disabled, it does not work.

For info, the small counter on the homepage telling you how many cars your current selection captures does not load.
