So why does my browser complain about the certificate?

This is by no means the first cert. warning I have got - but only ever on PH, and usually related to some tracking bollux.

ETA given the browser redirect thread here, and other repeated issues of badly behaved adverts, am I wrong for not trusting PH's advertising "partners" ?

Are you reporting a fault or issue with the site? as I'm not sure what you are referring too. I'm afraid I missed that class at school smile

I will however ask Dom to have a so that he might be able to shed some light on it.

Some searching found this :

Invalid Server Certificate
From 9th December 2010 RapidSSL and Geotrust certificates have been issued from a new 2048Bit root. The GeoTrust Global CA root is not installed on various mobile devices. The GeoTrust Global CA may be included in a future update of these devices.

Since this device was made in 2012, I doubt that's the issue. I have 8 geotrust certs loaded on my machine at present.

Anyway, be buggered if I am going to install a new root cert. just for some tracker. The annoying thing is that refusing to accept the tracker's cert bounces me back to the previous page, because the tracker is obviously more important than the page content.

uBlock Origin.

Does everything Adblock does (and Ghostery but without the tracking) and uses less resources than Adblock on its own.
