Report to moderators page hangs
Discussion
I've had a couple of instances recently when I've tried to report a thread to the mods, however the page hangs waiting for adbureau.haynet.net or something similar. After a couple of minutes of this I press the back button and the report to mod form flashes up, just before the previous page is displayed.

It's a 'filter' used by the mods. It's there to ensure you really want to report something serious.
Mods are very busy and don't really want to do all that unpaid work in the first place.
The 'two-action-click-to-report' setting gets automatically turned on by the forum software when the number of moderators logged in falls below a specific number.

Time for more mods?Although I don't think normal users know how many there are in total or who there are...

Seeing as they asked for it to be introduced as they can't read every thread, and PH management are encouraging posters to 'self police'... I doubt that this is the case
I wonder how many reports get submitted per day? Some people do come across as a little trigger happy.Sheepshanks said:

It varies greatly from day to day, but as a rough estimate it is between 20 and 50 - which is really not that bad at all given the number of posts we have per day. In fact, it means that less than 0.5% of posts are reported for moderation... which isn't bad at all and just goes to show what a brilliant community PH is.JD

I wonder if there would be more if the page didn't hang so badly?
