996 valuation thread delete - it wasn't my car!

Hi mods,

You recently deleted a Porsche 996 valuation thread I started for violating rule 4, however rule 4 states you can't ask for a valuation of your *own* car. I think the mods may have misread it as my thread was for the value of a car I'm *looking to buy from a mate*, not one I own myself and planning to sell. I've even posted about it before here:

Can you please reinstate the thread as it had some useful info on it

ETA: I tried to email [e-mail] as the rules section suggests but the mail delivery came back with a permanent failure.

Yes, it was his friend's car!!!! Mario, email Ollie. There are a couple of over officious mods on PH...maybe you fell foul of one of them?
