Huge Dacia add blocking all the menus..

Much as I get the fact a "free" needs ad revenue, I'm not surprised I read of so many people using ad-blockers as this bloody thing just keeps appearing.

Logged on this morning to find the same thing when viewing via iPhone. More often than not I can't actually navigate around the forum thanks to an advert for a car I really, really don't want

Even when I can see the links at the top of the page on my phone, somehow the ad still stops me clicking on them. Clicking on threads works fine so it's not a problem with the whole page.

Just install adblock. If you want to do the decent thing to help sites support themselves then do as I do - unblock ads on sites that only allow unintrusive ads. Site owners will eventually get the message and start creating tougher guidelines for their advertisers. I've been a designer for over 20 years and made more than enough web ads in my time to know that the process of communication between advertiser, designer and publisher is not so difficult as to prevent effective advertising being created which doesn't turn people off sites or make them resort to ad-blocking.
