You're using the mobile skin not the standard PH one.

This is really annoying, what are the downsides of using an ad blocker on ipad?

I have spoken to ad-ops and the advert has been removed (again). I have been informed that the reason why the advert kept coming back has been identified, so fingers crossed that this is the end for the supersized Dacia ad.
More bad info - Still there at 07.27 today

It's clear that no-one in power cares about PH and it's members.

We get no interaction from management any more. The add-team are given free reign. The site staff are shredded and surely not full time.

This needs a member buyout.....

Its clear that people ignore suggestions about adblock software.

I dont see a single ad on PH either on computer or phone.

It's been the same for a while.

I'm here until I find a decent alternative. Unfortunately, there aren't many forums that I have found with the simple basic look of PH.

Ad block, or for the hard of hearing AD BLOCK is your friend.

Install and stop complaining, it's that simple. Well it was for me anyway.

That's not the point though is it, it's not about complaining as such, just reporting a fault with the site in website feedback. If people don't "complain" then PH won't have clue something is wrong or how many it is effecting... Plus I would imagine a fair few on here are accessing this forum at work so may not be able to install ad block on company pc's

Ads provide revenue to PH, I would rather the ads were reasonable and PH earns some revenue for providing the site. However this oversized ad abuses the implied covenant which is counter productive.

Kind of helps if someone from PH is actually reading Website Feedback though.

When did I start the thread?

100% and on that basis PH was one of the few sites I whitelisted, but its been too daft for too long now, just wish I could block on mobile.

There is also an argument that the more people that block may be the only way to get the message across

You can certainly get it for Chrome on Android.
