PH/HM know about this problem and many others such as the HTTPS one and the Phonesafe piss take but don't care enough to do much about them.
The site appears to have only very occasional attention from developers and PH has suffered for many years from a lack of effective management. It's such a shame but I fear the situation will only get worse.

Weirdly I only started to encounter this issue about a year ago - so much more recently than this thread was started - but it has been a consistant issue since then.
It's quite bewildering that it hasn't been fixed during this time..
I prefer PH classifieds to, say, Autotrader which has far less useful search options, no gallery view, no option for more results per page etc.
But this ongoing bug is ridiculous, it not only makes viewing adverts tedious, but it was actually put me off advertising on here until it's fixed. I have listed both cars and motorcycles on here in the past, but knowing that potential buyers wouldn't even be able to view most of my photos, I probably wouldn't bother...
