Goodness, this is taking the IT dept a while to fix !! Was hoping after reading the posts above that there would be a solution after a few years !! Are they really not going to bother fixing this, or even attempt to resolve it and reply here? Staggering. Surely the fundamental of car classifieds site is that the f*%^&ing photos open you bunch of lazy .......... SORT IT OUT.
To be honest I've had the same issue with PH for years now. It's a terrible website. So clunky compared to others. It just doesn't work. I've sold all my cars on Autotrader as the site works well. Certainly would never consider selling a car on PH classifieds given buyers can't see decent-sized photos!
I'm amazed PH do nothing to fix it and that somebody further up the ladder hasn't stepped in by now to resolve it. Is this arrogance / laziness by PH, or an inability by the IT dept to produce a website that actually works? Others sites do it perfectly well, so it's not that tricky? Either way, if this were my business heads would roll in all departments until I had a working website !!
