Obviously not.

You = PH advertising team as a whole.

Since it's probably not Jack's fault directly, he is just the contact point.
Once again you are wrong, I, (& I think all mods) disagree with audio ads.
Probab;y all auto play adverts.

And yet, myself and many others are still getting them.
Despite giving exact time date and page information they still play.

Forgive me if I don't share your faith in them to resolve the issue.

I'm getting the diesel advert - even worse I'm at work and it's coming over the top of my music.

PH team,

Can you tell Diesel et all that their audio ads make me less, not more likely to buy their products?

Hi All,

Can I ask what URL the Diesel ad is clicking through to please?

I'm sorry about the continued audio ads, if we get auto audio ads served that we don't know re auto play, it really does help when you report them to us, so thank you for your continued feedback!

Thanks,

Jack

Autoplaying ads are still obnoxious even without audio. I certainly will be keeping adblock on if PH consider autoplaying video ads acceptable.
Also not nice for bandwidth. (4g)

If interested it should be click to play
100% this. Video ads on mobile data make me angry.

Come on guys. Just install Adblock. I don't see any adverts on PH at all.

You cannot rely on PH and the advertisers to ever sort this out.

Once again. ADBLOCK!!!

The Hulu ad now auto plays, means I can't browse PH from work, can't install adblock because all program installs are blocked frown shame, I like my lunchtime browse

yes it did it 4 times and since then I can't risk it in the office, My internet resolves to a US IP address not a UK one so it might be an issue with what ever ads run on the US browsers

How about turning the volume down in the volume mixer (assuming you need sound for other applications - if not, just mute the audio completely)?

I know you shouldn't have to but it might allow you to work around PH's appalling ad handling.

I need media volume for IM alerts and things like that so can't, just means I can't go to the front page from work now, shame really but that sort of advertising actually drives down traffic which is counter intuitive as to why you would want it on your site

If you're on Chrome, you can mute individual tabs if that helps?
