Don't know whether to post here or in computers, but is there any way that the PH web site could be causing my laptop to blue screen? Maybe one or other advert or add-on?

The reason I'm asking is that I can do anything else on the laptop without a problem. Doesn't happen on any other site - I can surf as long as I want - but on PH I get a blue screen, sometimes after a couple of minutes, sometimes longer.

Started this weekend - browing PH got very slow and I kept getting messages that (I think) Shockwave Player had crashed.

Laptop is fairly ancient - Windows Vista and the browser is Google chrome - but does everything I need.

Grateful for any comments/suggestions. smile

Sorry - when I said blue screen I meant that it crashes completely and restarts. frown

I've been having Shockwave Plug in crashes and unresponsive scripts a lot this week on my work PC, some pages are fine and others are a nightmare. It is obviously linked to the ad in the 5th(?) post down, as on the pages without the crash that ad loads fine, but it is greyed out on pages with the problem.

Usually in this situation PH ask us to tell them which ad it is, but as the PC crashes, or the ad doesn't load it is pretty difficult.
