I recalled that at first thought. It's of course a great shame and terrible for his family at this time of year, no age, but he clearly had problems.

Can we please please stop banging on about 'this' year though?, as will no doubt soon be posted. Yes there have been some shocking deaths of particularly prominent artists, but there are some every year, there's nothing that much different about this year.

I'm with you. A lot of people die ever year it's just this one a few more prominent have popped their clogs.

He was only 53. Shocking.

I believe he was a heavy dope smoker for many years and had a history of respiratory problems. He was very seriously ill with pneumonia a few years ago, but recovered.

Heaven's 2016 supergroup has an increasingly impressive line-up, sadly.
