No audio, but advert stops my audio

There's an EBay advert which doesn't play sound itself but for some reason silences whatever I'm listening too. Appears at the top of threads.

This is on an iPad (all up to date) with Safari.

Need to investigate ad blockers for Safari on iPad and iPhone now.
