How to surpress radio interference?
Discussion
I have bought this USB power unit to run a dashcam and charge my phone, but when it is connected I seem to lose some of my DAB stations, and weaker FM stations drop out. The comments on amazon mention interference. Is there any way to effectively shield it? I tried wrapping in foil but that didn't work.

For my camera I bought a plug socket USB adapter from Poundland, extracted the circuit, soldered on some leads and wrapped it in heatshrink - works a treat and no interference.
These things have chokes inside them and can be electrically noisy, but the Poundland ones are fine.
Thanks, I'll probably do something similar. I got a good quality USB charger but the circuit was glued in and I didnt want to break it open so I got a female 12v accessory socket which I can hide away. These things have chokes inside them and can be electrically noisy, but the Poundland ones are fine.
