Hey guys, looking for some input.
Today I test drive a Volvo V60 D4 2013, a Bmw 320d m sport estate, and a Audi A4 avant 2.0 tdi se.

I think I liked the Audi the best out of the lot and the BMW the least.
I have £10k to spend, I want decent MPG as my commute is 100 miles a day.

What would you lot buy? Not just the above cars but additional suggestions would be great.

Also would people go higher miles on a newer reg? Or lower miles on a older reg?

If buying BMW 320d then you should probably try and avoid a N57 engine.

Otherwise, buy on condition and service history. Most these cars will spend a lifetime on the motorway. 20k miles pa is quite run of the mill.

I have to say if I was doing 26+ per year I'd look for a cer with lower miles as it gives you a longer period of ownership before you start getting to a point where you might get some big bills, with that in mind I can recommend the Mondeo if you're not a badge snob then you'd be hard pressed to look past it as it's a very good steer comfortable spacious & well equipped.

Other than that the Skoda VR-S is another good call.

If you want the premium cars then get a well spec'd one

With the BMW's I'd go for the bigger engine as there are less chance of issues with the 6 cylinder engine.

2009 Mercedes C250 Sport 48k

There are no bad cars in the list above, I'd probably go Ford Mercedes & BMW in that order
