Since the "quote all" function has been disabled I'm having a problem quoting a post that already contains a previous quote if the quote is in the middle of the post.
I.e only the last part of the post is quoted, the part before the quote is not.

There we go, the first bit -the "an example" part - hasn't been carried forward when I try and quote the complete post.The "quote all" bit of my op was a red herring, just me being stupid, I can see it's working fine.

Has it always been like this and I've never noticed?

Thanks guys, but that's not really the problem.
It's when "quote", not "quote all ", is used and the original post already contains a quote (which you don't want to repeat) which appears half way through , only the part below the internal quote is used.
As in my example using quote not quote all
