Do I understand this correctly that using the GTI skin in a mobile means it's impossible to access forum groups and you just have to select each forum individually ?

You are correct of course - sans represents the 'generic-family'.

Either way - I think I would have specified a wider spread of fonts to cover all bases, even though the sans is a catch all.

I like my sites to look as uniform as possible across all platforms.

For those of you that want to turn the Skin back (ooerr misses) go to my preference and select required skin and press save, It's only a short term fix I might add.

1. considerable research into what people liked or didn't like - there have been many polls I'm sure.

2. analysis of usage meta data and seen what is most popular based on individual visits (like when you don't bother to log in on different devices) and seen that default (not logged in version) is the most used (GTI)

3. Found which application is most easily rendered for maximum ad space (GTI)

And based on all of the above chosen GTI.

Clearly if that's the only resistance to change from a site that attracts over 5m unique visitors a month then it's pretty clear which way the decision will go

Forum signed in users are a very very very small percentage of the site traffic - those that want to continue to use the Classic Skin are just old dinosaurs

Which is why it will be a permanent change come April - there are more users already using the forums with GTI skin or Big blue than using the classic

They aren't upset by the change

I think I'm logged in as gti. But when I occasionally look at work, so not logged in, it doesn't really look any different to me. Maybe I'm just not observant enough.

Yep. there are more adverts loading in the GTI skin, with adblocker disabled, than there are in the other available skins - funny that

This is my biggest issue, majority of my browsing is via mobile, and that's how I'd rather browse.

The above completely ignores how cack it looks, has the GTI skin even been finished? Big blue for me thanks.

Just realised that I was previously Big Blue, whereas I thought I was PH Classic.

On desktop I don't really mind which of the three. I haven't looked at mobiles or tablets yet.
