Same here, and with all the issues with picture uploads it really is becoming very very tiresome!

Smiler.

Was getting the "page not working" when trying to sign in on mobile earlier.

Seems ok now though.

Happens with 2 different computers, 2 different operating sysems and 3 browsers.
I confidently suggest the problem is at the PH end of the chain and not with me.

Still the same with me since I started this thread in August 2019.

Currently pretty low down at our priority list.

I don't think we will be working on this for the foreseeable future.
Fat fking chance.

All these years and they still can't be bothered fixing it.

Perhaps you could have your money back?

You would thought that with all the advertising money they get they could afford a licence for XenForo rather than the ancient platform they are using.

I guess you guys gave up back in February by the looks of things but I'm here to report it happening with another browser I haven't seen mention of - Samsung Internet v13.0.1.17 Beta running on Android. The same thing happens with Chrome on Win 10 but that's been mentioned a lot.

So frustrating, and it really is the only site I have the issue on.

It’s either an issue they can’t fix or they couldn’t care less about.

Anyone else still getting logged out at random? Seems to average a couple of times a week for me.

While searching for this thread to necro-bump I found some even older threads about the same problem from over 10 years ago, hilarious how long PH has had this problem.

Yes, Firefox app on IOS (iPhone), having to log back in at least twice every day for the past few days.

Doing my nut in.

Still happening... today it annoyed me because it dropped out while I was writing a post.

So I hit submit on the post I'd just written, then it told me I wasn't logged in and of course once I logged back in again the post was gone so I had to write it again. At least it was a short post or I wouldn't have bothered.

I have the same sign in issue which has been reported on this thread and I started a new thread for it unknowingly since I couldn't find this or any other old threads related to the same matter (due to the fact that the search functionality on this forum is not good at all). I was pointed into this topic by the moderators (?) so I'll copy-paste my message from the other topic here:

"I have to sign in to the forum almost every time I try to access it ie. the forum software doesn't remember that I've already signed in and asks me to sign in every time I access the forum. It's the same behavior on Windows 10 and 11 PCs and Android devices. It's been the same behavior since I joined this forum approx. two years ago. Is this a feature of the forum software or should the forum remember your signing in so that you don't have to do it all over again?

Second technical issue which I have is that the the functionality to enable jumping to the first unread post on each topic doesn't work. The way it behaves is that when I click on a topic with bold heading (= it has new posts), it sometimes takes me to the first post of the topic (on a topic which I've previously visited), sometimes it takes me to the beginning of the page where the first unread post is and sometimes (very rarely) it takes me where I want to go ie. the actual first unread post.

Also, if I read messages on another device, the forum doesn't remember which post have been the last unread posts on another device.

All of these are basic functionalities on other popular forum software but they don't seem to work at all on this forum. Can forum administrators/owners do something to fix these basic issues?"

So, it seems like this sign in issue is very old issue which hasn't been resolved.

The sign in issues is still relevant. Could forum admin/developers fix this very basic issue?
