Just a thought... it's not really a problem more of a niggle..... I'm the sort of user that pops onto PH a few times a day to check what's up. I check the "last posted" times and this is always in UK time (GMT or UK summer time as the case may be)... now this often catches me out as at a glance it is similar to our time over here in Kiwiland (11 hours difference at the moment). I was wondering how easy (or hard) it would be to include a "home time-zone" in the forum so that the forum's timing was in your native time?

No worries if it's a hassle (as I imagine it is) but was just thinking that if it was as simple as merely ticking a box somewhere in Ted's godly-like box of tricks then it might actually make life easier for us ex-pats and Johnny Foreigners :)

Otherwise PH has been running really well lately (except for the daily scheduled-outages that happen during the middle of our day! :))

Keep up the fantastic work Ted... and flick me an e-mail once you've got some more of those rather fetching grey smiley t-shirts in :)

That's what's great about this place... the friendly, no bull$hit happy service... Thanks Ted... as I said, no real problem with it, it's just one of those "in a perfect world" things If you happen to come across a simple solution in your tinkering you'll just bring it all closer to perfection.

Ted, how about a "timezone" option in people's profile. People can enter -0700 and have that offset applied to posting times.

See, with no knowledge of your database structure or how the forums work, i just post a blasé one liner about how easy it must be. sorry
