On the PREVIOUS POSTS page you have filtered them to reflect the posts someone has replied to within the last (whatever period selected).

What this doesn't highlight is when somebody else revives an old topic to which you have started or replied.

Wouldn't it be better to filter the results to show these topics, to which anybody has replied within the last (whatever) period?

Maybe, I did deliberate on this.

I figured that the profile info is the information about that person and what they've contributed to the forums, not necessarily the current state of discussions they took part in previously.

Proof that you can't please all the people .... etc

It just seems to me that it would be useful to know when an old topic was revived

It should show up in what's new and each forum though.

I don't think it does - unless I have replied within the last, say, month.

What's new and the list of topics in each forum is order by the time of the last update, descending. So if I dredge up an old thread from last year it will appear in today's lists.
