Hi Ted

I have a suggestion for eliminating double-posting but doing away with the press-once-only submit button which can cause problems for some of us with backwards ISPs, and that is to generate a unique ID with every post submission page, and allow that ID to be used only once on the backend. That way i could still use my submit button again when my lame ISP drops my connection in that small interval between loading the submission page and clicking "submit". It happens often enough here, and I presume for some others too, to warrant this suggestion for a slight improvement...

Thanks

Ciao

Zak

or, when you double post you could just delete one yourself.

To be fair you can't - it leaves a stub.

a stub? sounds painful? then Doctor Mod removes it I guess...

I thought you could delete your posts.

Or did you mean new threads...?

You can only delete your own posts, if you started the thread and you make a cock up and try to delete it, it leaves a stub that you can't delete.

Hope that makes sense?
