How to post URL's

Something's obviously changed, if you paste a URL into a post, it gets truncated in the resulting link in the post and doesn't work.

How is one supposed to post a link apart from the [url]textytexty|linkylinky[/url] method?

..and, like some others, first link doesn't work (although it was all there when posted) but second one does?

Working on it now. Looks like the fix should be retrospective, i.e. links that are currently broken should begin to work.
