A football room

I think a room for football/sporst would be a welcome addition to this forum.
The football thread is many pages long and I never feel like posting on it because questions/topics are not relevant to the current vein of the thread.
Is there a reason you don't have one?

Do any football forums have a car section?

Personaly i think PH is getting cluttered with all the demands for "can we have xxxx forum?" and as such is swaying away from what this place is all about.

Before the P&P we never even used to be allowed to discuss football full stop. I think a single thread is a fair compromise. Everyone who is interested in football will have a look so even if the current conversation isn't related to what you want to discuss just post anyway. Most of us don't want to discuss Man U and Chelsea all the time either!

Pie&Piston, Photography, Computers/gaming, Business are all completely off topic rooms so your comments aren't completely valid. FFS we even have a scale model section!!!!
There is an awful lot more to Pistonheads than just cars which is reflected in the liveliness of the other threads so why not a sports section?
