Could be open to abuse though

as people might start posting all sorts of rubbish in these footnotes , effectively using them as signature spaces like on other sites where individuals list all the components of their PC or the full spec of their engine...

I'm confused again. I've edited your post plotty (not actually, but just to see the code) and (small) is replaced by (footnote)...however...I can't replicate it, either by writing myself or by editing.

Very curious, I dont get it on either.

I think its because editing and viewing topics is slightly different for mods Tony and you are getting different results to me because there are slight differences between our editing rights.
