Video Links ??

When we post links to video clips and such, often it takes you off to another site etc when the clip itself is the only point of interest.

Is it OK to emebed a clip into a thread with an inframe code??

Or will this put a spanner in the works at your end??

The reason I ask is because sometimes the site where the link would take you is a bit edgy, even when the clip itself is safe and interesting....????

Fair point but I'm not sure the software will let you embed a link in the manner suggested.

In the 'preview' it runs as a little video window, but when submitted it turns to jelly....

I can't allow those unfortunately as it would allow malicious code to be inserted into PH pages.

In that case the most practical approach might be to ask PetrolTed to enhance the formatting codes to support an embedded video frame? Or perhaps find some way to add it to Pistonheads.tv (so it can be censored if necessary) and enable people to link to that from the forums.

I'll give it some thought.

I'm working on PH TV at the moment. I hope to be able to embed videos in the forums from there at least.
