if you right click on that pic you should get the option 'copy image location', that will give you this

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7003/6719530803_925b...

put [pic] [/pic] around it

and get this

what you are putting in the [pic] brackets should (almost) always end in .jpg or .gif

Thanks for the help but still struggling. When I right click on the photo it gives me this as the url:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/74610863@N02/67195308...

I suspect that is the web page url and not the photo. I have tried putting .jpg after the text above but still not working. Can't seem to get the url you are listing anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

actually, thinking about it, i clicked 'actions' - 'view all sizes' then 'medium' then right-clicked on that, where I then got the option 'copy image location'

flickr is annoying

Thanks. I think I've got it now - its navigating around flickr thats the awkward bit but once you know where to look the correct url is there.

Photobucket's way better. Plus, you don't get that annoying 'tag' in the bottom right corner.

When posting all I seem to see is a very small box with a question mar in it. I'm using a mac and flick and have noticed these random question marks when reading through threads before and just assumed the link was dead or something but now I'm very confused... see below:

any ideas?

On your post the boxes at the start and end of the photo must either be [img] the picture code [/img] or [pic] the picture code [/pic] But Im not seeing a picture code? Its normally a longer code than you have posted there? I use 'Webshots' for my photos which PistonHeads suggested years ago, so Im not too sure of the format of Flic.kr..... Someone will be along soon to help you smile

Have a look at this image code to see if that will help you,

Of course you are seeing the picture here but if you quote this post and scroll down you will see the longer code. Hope that makes sense smile
