OK, can't say for certain but (as far as I know) the picture needs to be a JPG or similar format. I've tried looking at it various ways but can't get it to load!
Can you not use the "Upload a picture" link?

Flickr seem to hide the actual image from the page for you to link to it - I had to look at what is coming to my machine and intercept the image to get it... like this:

Though it does appear that sharing of that picture in Flickr is disabled, so if it was I would hope the Share option (the little forward arrow at the bottom right) would open up a tab for you to see BBcode that would show the link to the image (between the two img tags)

I really am lost with this, if I click on the share arrow to find the "address" it come out as below:-

could it be because it is a completely new account and full functionality is not available for a qualification period? Any other ideas?

would you mind removing the links as it just opens my whole Flickr Photostream

After several years of posting and uploading pix.. suddenly yesterday I can't upload pictures... "upload an image" doesn't respond. Other users have uploaded pictures. Suggestions?

There seems to be a bug in some threads which blocks the Upload button from doing something - I have yet to find out the specifics of this - but if you could post the URL of the page where the click doesn't work (so the post or quoted reply page) hopefully we can spot the issue.

Likewise,just tried to post a pic of my E30 on this BMW General thread and the upload button failed to responsd

I also had that problem trying to load up a pic a couple of days ago. Gave up in the end I also notice PH still recommends the host site Webshots which you now have to pay for Surely this needs updating to a free site like Flickr?

Yes, won't work on iPad or iPhone. Screen just doesn't load.
