I suspect it's about time to admit to the fact it's just not going to change I've always included my number in the advert anyway and have had minimal scammers/canvassers calling and if they really wanted to they could just email me and ask for it if I didn't.
Having been stung for £18 calling about an M3 I was looking to buy in the past I have no problems giving mine out if selling.

There is a link titled "pricing info" to the right of the phone number below the phonesafe logo.
Well that's just awesome. Now, about the new platform that was promised - can you just let us know when that is due for release? I didn't get a response to me previous update request. Would you be so kind as to respond please eybic?Back in February Ollie_M said:
We have explored a number of avenues and I believe a decision has been made to migrate to a new free phone platform. Work has been scheduled to start in the next few months with a release date planned the second half of the year. Any further information I get on this I will let you know.

Keep an old mobile phone handy. Buy a SIM for any mobile network for a £1. Put £5 credit on it. Use it only for selling your car. Turn it off once you've sold the car.
Job jobbed. Also avoids having pain the arse idiots phoning you up about a problem with the car months after they bought it.

As has been said, I no longer work for PH. Personally if I viewed an ad and saw a logo next to the phone number with something saying pricing info, I'd look at it. I know a lot of people wouldn't but I would (that's not meant to be an inflammatory comment).
Ah, if you don't work for Ph fair enough The problem is 07 is a mobile number, everyone knows that...
Except in this rare case it isn't, that's the problem. Make it an 09 and everyone will look at the pricing info.

It is blatantly obvious what is going on here...

Ofcom were the ones who moved all mobiles to 07x numbers so it was easy to spot them and know the cost of calling.. then decided to add personal numbers (070x) which are all charged at completely different rates to that band. It would have been far more sensible to use 04x instead and avoid any confusion.
Agreed, but if Haymarket wanted to be transparent and comply with the regulations, they could.pincher said:

Didn't know that. Apologies eybic - but the same request to someone in an official capacity still stands.....Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
