(PENDING)Phonesafe, Beware!!!!!
Discussion
Are you saying that you haven't even started to implement a solution yet?
If so, that is deplorable - people are being overcharged left, right and centre.
At the very least, you should be looking to pull the PhoneSafe option until you manage to remove your fingers from your derrieres.
Genuine question Jack (not that I expect you to answer it) - are you not embarrassed by what you have just posted? For someone in an offical capacity to actually write that down and hit the submit button shows just how much contempt HM have for the people that use the site.

Hi All,
Apologies for the delay in replying. We currently have a temporary product manager for PH dealing with this, who is juggling a lot of work at the moment, until we find a full time replacement. I've been informed that they are taking it further soon, so hopefully we can take some positive steps with it!
Again, apologies for the long wait for this and thank you for your patience!

Haymarket need to publicly hang their heads in shame, only a few posts up I quoted all (and I mean all 4) of HM/PH posts in the past year or so, and the original complain about this SEVEN YEARS ago.
So the upshot is, that no-one gives a flying whatsit about the customer experience, and HM/PH continue to be complicit in flouting guidance and shafting customers.
What (poor, unfunny, excuse for) a joke...

Just remove it until you have a better solution!
Happy new year!
Unfortunately the solution works fine for PH & HM.
No doubt they take a kickback on the charges & what's the negatives for them? A few pissed off forum users..... 7 years of complaining and we're at 19 pages - the majority of posts from just a few posters.
I don't expect to see a change anytime soon..... just as the awful ads will continue to be served up

Give them chance to get it sorted.
They've had 7 years.http://www.kia.com/uk/innovation/7-year-warranty/
WOW !!!
I've never even tried to buy a car from PH so I had no idea the phone safe numbers cost so much. What a rip off !!
I can see the need to set up another website to advertise these rip offs to potential purchasers. Something which will appear in a google result page next to or near pistonheads.com

So this is nothing about the cost of using phonesafe, although now I've seen it I doubt I'll be using it, but, I've got an ad up at the moment, it was using phonesafe, my dad suggested phoning the number to check it was working, we tried it and both of our mobiles say it's an invalid number.
Doesn't even seem to be working.
Actually seems to be working perfectly.Doesn't even seem to be working.
