Poll Request Thread

Why is starting a poll restricted, but starting a topic not? Do polls use significantly more bandwidth/space/recourses or was there a flurry of stupid polls etc.?

Correct, you were able to create polls until that right was specifically removed. If you can't recall why, check your emails from the 13th of October.
