Hi,

I remember CBZ8, if it's still on the black SE30? Was offered that car privately a number of years ago for very cheap money. At that time it had a huge ugly rear spoiler and black out windows.

Yep, spoiler and windows gone.

Just had a full engine rebuild on it at Hoyle-Fox

Would look much better with those bits removed.

Still have a few magazines with that car in it, was on a M plate.

You should post up some pics, haven't seen it in a long time.

I had heard for many years that only 8 SV roadsters were made, of which 2 were RHD, All but the first were 1999 fixed headlight cars.
These are ones that I have personally seen. I know they look like VT's but they are not. They have alcantara interiors for most part and they are all 2WD. The only external clue is that these SV Roadsters only have the bull badge on the back and no VT badge.

The last one had SE front and SVR rear fitted after an accident.

Supposedly there have been 6 imported by Lamborghini Australia, but no one has seen the 6th or even knows what colour it is.

P30LAM, do you mind me asking what made you choose Carlo's red SE30 over the purple one which he also had at the time?

I have been asked that a few times. I mulled both and with 10k difference between them it was worth doing. Bottom line is I loved the interior Carlo had instated, and have to confess to not being a big fan of the Viola exterior and viola and blue interior. There are only 5 RHD SE30s in UK and probably only 8 or 9 (non JOTA) left in the world. So I'm not worried that non Viola makes it non authentic. Both were in identical condition so it really was just personal choice.

Thanks for your reply P30LAM. If I recall, your red car has the bigger Brembo brake upgrade over the viola one. Congratulations on your fabulous acquisition. Hope that we see it out and about soon.

Many thanks! Yes Indeed the Brembo package. You will see it out and about - not going in to storage!

I believe this was your car, prior to your purchase Dion. Glad to hear that you have ditched that horrendous rear wing.

Dear God, I spent £17k on therapy forgetting what it looked like before!

In fairness that was removed quite a while before I bought it bout 4/5 years ago

lol I have that same picture and a few more.

Spoiler was awful, not sure why anyone would want that on. Personally I didn't like the tinted windows either, not a fan of tints anyway.
