The red/pink combo was the worst thing that ever happened to that car. I recall a conversation with a seller, a number of years ago [wont mention who] that told me 10k was spent doing that to the car. Who ever did the re-trim must have been laughing all the way to the bank.
But now, the interior really does the car justice.

Many thanks, so what colour interior did it leave the factory with ?
If it was red/pink will the retrim to black detract from the cars value should P30LAM ever decide to sell it on ?

Are the Jotas street legal in the UK? I assume they must be but not 100% sure.
Having been speaking to one of the Lamborghini guys, he told me that these are not street legal, and that it is one of 2 in the UK - But that is purely going on what he said, i have no evidence to back this upI will go in there again soon and see which number it is...

I saw the yellow Jota at a show many years ago and I'm fairly sure it was driven there.
There were 3 Jotas in the UK,
The viola one
The yellow one at £300k at VVS
And Bob Forstner has a yellow one with glass headlight conversion.

Forstner's Jota seems to spend time both in the UK and Germany. I saw the other yellow Jota, with the matching yellow wheels. The viola one

What is the significance of the DIVING number plate of the orange one
Why would you change the front fogs to round ones strange guy - any link to the much discussed thread
The front fogs I wouldn't really call strange, reason being is, they were prone to taking a beating being so low down, so a few Diablos either no longer have them, or have something else fitted because the OEM ones lights are no longer available from factory. Plus there was the fact that 4 front OEM lights are nearly £900!
I had the same issue on my Diablo with the front fogs, had horrible round projector type installed, but I eventually sourced an equivalent unit that looks close to OEM. Most people wouldn't even be able tell if I didn't point it out.

This was the UK launch car shown at Reading. First Diablo I sat in too :-)The yellow one at £300k at VVS
I have some photos somewhere too.
How would the DVLA know you had the Jota induction kit fitted ? I don't think anyone tells the DVLA you've modified the induction system or trains the Police to spot you have done it either.
A bit like fitting a fast road cam in your Ford Escort.
The road legal bit is all to do with the fact the Jota's weren't given an Eu Certificate of Conformity as road cars, hence were not totally legal for the road.
If I recall correctly 28 kits were produced and 15 or so cars were fitted with them when sold. The other 13 or so were supplied with cars.
Some cars fitted with it, had it removed after a while, as the power curve wasn't very suited to normal road use.
Happy to be corrected on the above, but this is my current understanding.

SAB do you realise, your same message has repeated 4 or 5 times lol.
Well I did notice it was repeated once and I don't know how that happened. It seems to have been reposted when I wasn't even on a computer. I thought I was resonably clever, but not THAT clever! I wonder if I can delete them, I'll have a go.autofocus said:

Hi,
It didn't leave the factory in that way, that's for sure lol. I don't think there was many options for the SE interior color for UK cars, they we're mainly a grey/dark grey or the bluish color as seen on most of the viola cars, I believe the seats though could be ordered in leather rather than the Alcantara. US cars all came with with leather seats from what I understand.
The interior re trim on P30 LAM now, will only have made it more desirable I think. Can't state enough how bad it was before. But for some reason, people do the oddest things to Lambos at times lol.
