Am I right in saying that most UK cars didn't have rear spoilers?

In the case of the 6.0 VT cars (first cars Audi were involved with), yes its true - most of them don't have the rear wing.

I think all the (6.0) GTs had rear wings as standard

The run-out model with a few cosmetic changes, the main one being the exterior colour. See http://www.lambocars.com/diablo/diablo_vt_6_0_spec...

Bonhams have a '93 VT in their forthcoming sale at FOS

LHD and 12,500 miles. Guide is £70k-£80k which after commission means it's likely to cost you something in the order of £85k-£95k

http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/21906/lot/384/[url...
Sold for £70k + fees which by my calcs equates to just short of £82k

Room wasn't as empty as it looks, front seats were reserved but lots of people were standing at the back or at the sides!

Sounds like a good price.
Did you see the car in person? Just curious if it was a clean tidy car with good history?
I don't know how much the price was affected being LHD?

The 500S needed quite a lot spending on it, £40k i was told. It's had quite a life and was showing it!

That said, that's still half the price paid for the one at Brooklands recently.

Couldn't fault the condition, looked at the car (just out of general interest) but not its history pack.

I assume LHD would be less than RHD(?)

Sold for £70k hammer price + fees which are 15%+vat on the 1st £50k and 12%+vat on anything over £50k, which = £81,880, yet Bonhams say sold for £79,900

The same thing happens last year when i bought my Diablo at the same auction. Hammer price is recorded correctly but the price paid inc fees is less than i actually paid. I don't understand why?
