Aventador Extended Warranty

Aventador is out of warranty in June and was looking at either getting an extended warranty on it or replacing it for a newer model. Has anyone put an extended warranty on their car and what is covered etc?

get a newer one! They just get better and better with each MY release - you will have some of the s/w updates - but not all of the updates.

The difference between a MY12 and MY13 with Diones was light and day - and MY14 roadster is a step forward on the previous coupe.....

On a side note would you actually be worried if it was out of warranty? It's a 3 year old car which (I'm guessing) has done less than 20k miles. What are you seriously expecting to go wrong that isn't a consumable part anyway?

I thought the build quality of modern Lambo's wasn't too bad so a catastrophic engine failure at 3 years old doesn't seem too likely no??
