Evening,

Other than main dealer where do you get wiper blades ? They must fit some other cars?

Thanks

Exactly; no Italian working for Lamborghini would see the wipers as an important part of the car.

From a cursory look on google, they look like standard VAG blades. You only need to match the length and fitting - I'd remove one and determine the type of fitting first.

Voicey.

The fitting has been the issue so far.

The standard blade fitting (the plastic block bit) is normally about 10mm wide, this one is almost double that. I went through several boxes at Halfords to find a match, but none the right fitting or length - About 28inches with a spoiler.

This morning I did manage to find reference to a Merc CL 2005 year that might be the same, will have a look on the way home.

Post a pic up - someone might recognise it. My A8 has got a really strange fitting that took ages to cross reference - Audi wanted £60 for the pair!

I have found them !

The original Mk 1 Galaxy / Sharan / Seat Alhambra ones fit.

They are only sold in a twin pack which will give you a 28inch one and another smaller one, but should be easier to find.

I am semi confident the blades from the 640 are a different fit and easier to find.

The code that appears on the packet from Lamnborghini refers to an early Audi A2 - LHD one.

Mine is LHD so I don't know if a RHD one would be any different.

I love how random the vehicles are that share blades. The ones on my Lotus are the same as those found on a Renault Traffic/Renault Espace (c.1994). Good luck with the search smile

So Del, for a right hand drive 6.2 should we buy the early VW Sharan blades then?

Morning,

Yes.

The issue is the width of the arm on the car, most cars have a "thin" arm, the one on the early Murci is a couple of mm thicker - limiting your choice of blade.

The original Galaxy ones do fit, and the Audi code on mine "googled" as an early Audi A2.

However despite all of that....

Sevenoaks only wanted £16.
