I recently had a Tubi sports box fitted to my lp640 which is perfect, retained the cats and standard tail piece too. It's much louder at idle (luckily closest neighbours are 500m away) and under load it really howls with that old F1 noise, still at a nice level for cruising though at about 3-4K rpm

Lots of people run decatted Murci's in the US with no ECU codes. They just run spacers for the secondary O2 sensors. It fakes out the sensors to thinking the exhaust is cleaner when it's really just getting a smaller sample of the exhaust.
US cars run two sets of O2 sensors, pre and post cat, so when you say secondary these are the only set on Euro spec cars

If one is getting a decat, it makes sense to go the whole hog and get it remapped for a bit more grunt and flames at the same time.
who does remaps of the Lamborghini LIE units then ?

If you are saying you only have one set of O2 sensors, you are wrong.

You may only have one set of cats, but you have 2 sets of O2 sensors. You have to have the first O2 sensors to run the engine, and the second set tells the ECU how well the primary cats are working. If you didn't have the second set of O2 sensors, you would never get a code if you removed all your cats. That's why my message about adding a spacer to the secondary O2 sensors is good info to avoid a dash light, and it also helps with inspections that check the the OBD readings before passing the car.

The secondary set of cats on US cars do not have any sensors because Lambo decided they don't need to monitor the health of the secondary cats because they know if the primary cats are working and not overheating.

You're welcome.

Several places do ECU AND TCU remaps for the M.

Probably looking at a 5-10% power gain.

Try BHP Bucks, Supercar Rooms, Quantum Tuning, etc.

Fellas,

Sorry for the delay in replying I have been in hospital and then recuperating in Tenerife, lucky boy.

Thanks for the advice I reckon it needs to stay as it is as it sounds like a non starter.

Do you ever get the chance to meet up in the UK, I am from Durham but would be delighted to meet in say the Midlands

hope your getting better John.
The Countach lads organised a get together at Rockingham this year, maybe the Diablo and Murci lads might want to do something similar ??

OK fellas that's a few people interested. However we now have to find a venue, decide if it a day meeting only, or an overnight stay, join a current event or run our own etc. Any suggestions?

I'll join in for an overnighter. I'm down on the South Coast however.

How about Fawsley Hall ? Just off the A43 near Silverstone;

https://www.handpickedhotels.co.uk/fawsleyhall

It's where Silverstone Porsche have all of their events. It's not too dear anyway, and they do special rates if you mention your a customer of Silverstone Pork. Secure place, big car park, discretely out of the way and safe for the cars. Lots of good roads and pubs around that bit of the A43 too....

I'm good with overnight. Car will be down south for a few weeks in late June, early July as I will be doing a European trip last weekend in June. Car will also be down south in September for annual service. Other dates may be more challenging. beer

Place looks great to me and a reasonably central UK location. If we are going to organize an event I know from experience of my TVR days you never find somewhere that suits all. Its going to take a bit of organising wherever and whenever so suggest we pick a place and a date and stick with it. I will copy this to a new forum subject to see if we get a few others interested.

Suggestion from one of the guys below
