hi,

I have an original UK Series 1 Diablo (RHD) that I have owned for quite some years and really love and adore. Practicalities and other interests have however lead to the conclusion that it might be the time to let it go, especially after acquiring my 911 GT3 which will easily soak up whatever time I have available these days.

First is there anything to be aware of when re-importing a car to the UK, I still have a copy of the original V5 doc. Car is in DK now, with a DK reg.doc. It can quite easily be transported back to the UK. I believe I also have the original UK plates for it, if that is important.

Secondly does anybody have a hands on feel for value of nice series 1 Diablos in good condition with 19-20K miles. I have personally done the majority of these miles.

I see prices all over the place, and some are modified or high millage cars, many LHD. Seems like there is fewer nice original Series 1 RHD cars on the market, as far as i can tell? I am told only around 40 UK spec. cars was made.

Top Gear Cars have got one with some "updated" changes up for £120k.
I think they've had it a while.

I believe this is probably the car I put you in touch with the owner of when you bought it. I'd be interested myself if the price is sensible, but I doubt any of the UK Lamborghini specialists would be interested unless you were practically giving it away.

Thanks for the input.

That othe thread had a lot of input. If I sell the car It would likely be directly to an enthusiast rahter than flipper/dealer.
