Is that shark fin on the back instead of wing?
Looks like it. Could be an F1-style sharkfin, or a telemetry aerial for GPS tracking.Never you mind said:

I bought my Aventador s on the basis it was a bigger version of the Huracan! Let me tell you there really is no comparison even in the S.
what do you mean?I found the Aventador difficult to drive smoothly at 8/10ths. Sure flat out the gearbox sort of works but you very rarely have chance to do that.
The worst thing is the fuel range though, not just my opinion some Aussie journo s said they had used 2.5 tanks of fuel in 300kms on the road that’s 6 miles to the gallon ish.Thats a 75-80 mile range and not far off what I found.
All that said I would have another but not until they put a clutch that works and a fuel tank that doesn’t have you planning journeys via petrol stations.

The Huracan feels lighter, smaller (which it is of course) more agile. The gearbox works properly. While the Aventador is a great car it’s not a drivers car even in its latest format.

It has a 90 litre tank = 20 gallons. So it only does 5 miles to a gallon to have a 100 mile range?? Surely that’s not right?I found the Aventador difficult to drive smoothly at 8/10ths. Sure flat out the gearbox sort of works but you very rarely have chance to do that.

I could get 180-190 miles before reserve out of my last Aventador this one 120 ish, no idea why. I hate to think what it would be like if I were pushing it. I couldn’t put up with the inconvenience.

That’s correct but reserve light comes on at about 40 litres remaining. Which is about 50-60 range at best.

Have you told your dealer? The maths don’t add up..they maybe something wrong with your fuel tank or consumption. I reckon very steadily I could manage 10-11mpg, with any pace it was 6-7mpg.

Mind you, I don't get anymore than 10 MPG out of my Gallardo.

I’ve got a Performante and a v8 Merc Gts and I can get easily double and more the range in either.
