LGF 849N- last saw the car in 2014 undergoing work and confirm silver exterior.

I will ask if the car is back on the road and likely to be seen at any events.

Do you have any photographs from when the car was in Leigh?

The OP ehasler has uploaded several more photos he took onto his website: http://www.stuffsandthings.co.uk/de-tomaso-and-lam...

Interesting to see the photos in that link, as the white Countach is the one I owned a few years ago.

LGF 849N - No details of history on the posted link and the Classic and Sports Car(C&S) advertisement has been withdrawn.

The car must have been repainted again since I last saw it silver in 2014 ( I did check the chassis number on the rear frame 1120094)

Minster ... did you save the reported history in the C&S advertisement - I can only see 'first delivered 22nd May 1975'

Assume it was 1976 when you rode in the car and I saw on the East Lancs Road.

Another RHD LP400 is planned to be exhibited at the London Classic Car Show in February 1120260 ex Australia and now for sale with Cheshire Classics.

I don't think the other advert had any more details:

Look back at the picture i posted at the top of Page 66 on 25th June. Is this the car when at Carrera Sport being restored?

Mike at Carrera Sport is a very approachable chap, if you give him a call i'm sure he'll tell you what he did and whether it had the colour change whilst in his care.

WHAT CONFIRMS IT TO ME THAT THIS IS JYH928N/ LGF849N, IS THE CAR AND CLASSIC ADVERT , STATING THE FIRST OWNER AS MR D HORROCKS OF BOLTON. I HAVE KNOWN MR HORROCKS FOR 40 YEARS, AND BEEN OUT WITH HIM IN THE CAR. ORIGINALLY IT WAS SOLD TO HIM BY MALTIN CAR CONCESSIONAIRES.

OK, lovely car. But, non original interior, bit matt and new leather. some of the engine bits are not 100% in my view. polished water tank. The paint is stunning, I had seen this car when it was being sorted by Mike. Wait and see if it sells.

Does anyone know anything about the LP400S up at Silverstone Auctions at the end of the month?

https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1981-lamborghi...

The estimate seems a bit low based purely on the photos and description.
