How about this huge poster 75 inch x 26 inch. 1986. In my collection years and as new, look great framed up eh.

Can the hideous US spoilers just be removed or do whole new Euro spec spoilers need to be fitted?

The yellow rhd car in the 5000s list on page 50 of this thread is a 1983 car and had a white interior, so I'd guess it's this car

I saw the book on it this morning at FOS and spoke to one of the Auction staff, it said £850k inc buyers premium and then VAT, that said it was a LOT of money eitherway!

Still to this day, NOTHING on four wheels has anywhere near the same impact.

As for the number of Countaches in Australia, I have heard that there are about thirty. As far as I know there is not a keeper of the numbers, like Robert, over here. The one fact that we can be certain of is that quite a number have arrived in the last few years. Our dollar has been very strong and there was that GFC business that did not seem to take hold here.

Paul
Well, it's been a bit quiet on here for a while, so here some of the Australian Countachs.

Photos from the web mainly (not mine mostly). If anyone wants to claim credit or object, please do so - if it's possible on PH, I can remove.

These pairs are the same car in ech case pre and post colour change...

This Countach Anniversary was red, and F599PYW when in the UK. Now yellow:

This Countach QV used to be 2ANP when in the UK, now black:

This LP5000s used to be peach coloured and is now navy (still retains the original dark brown interior)

And more Australian Countachs:

I don't know the identity of many of these - any ideas anyone?

I believe these two are the same car:

This is the first of five Countach QVS supplied new in RHD to Australia, but no idea as to its identity:

This car used to be C740BYX in the UK, then to Australia:
